I-70 Tower Road corridor is set to undergo a major upgrade

If you live in Denver Metro area and regularly utilize I-70 for your commute, it is no doubt you know it needs some major upgrades.

I-70 corridor between I-25 and Tower road is the first step. Despite a heated conversation and a major lawsuit between CDOT and Sierra Club neighborhood, project will move forward and is set to break ground withing the next few weeks. Some of the work has already commenced with buying out several nearby properties and doing demolition. Within weeks to come we will see more and more construction traffic in that area, however, Deputy Director of Communication on this project has assured us that no lane closures would happen during the day.

You can see that entire stretch of I-70 from I-25 to 225 is in the works of re-construction, which will tremendously affect traffic back-ups and congestion in this area.

Projects like this a definite indication of how modern but environmentally friendly approach to renovation can help improve multitude of areas around the city, and we couldn’t be more excited to be a part of this community (look at this post to see more projects like this one). Let us know what you think about this below or send us a quick line, we would love to hear your thoughts.
